The purpose is to partner with the families to help with the long-term life skills needed for jobs, education, family planning, health issues, shelter, hygiene, etc. We have focused specifically on the Bhutanese-Nepali community that is living in Nashville, TN. This organization works with this community to aid and teach them about American issues and living conditions they did not deal with in their native countries.

Even though they are misplaced and have seen rampant poverty, many of them have been educated, had jobs in their native countries, learned basic English and some have college degrees. They move to America with a desire to live a better life. Many of them just want an opportunity to understand American culture and to create self-sustaining communities in our country.

As America opens its doors to people coming here for shelter and refuge, Hope Rise International wants to commit itself to aid, not to just hand out, but to hand up. We work to help the Bhutanese-Nepali community become a self-sufficient part of American society. We do believe that every man, woman and child has the right to live a life full of hope for their own future and that is what we believe in giving them – HOPE.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
